I currently sitting in Vancouver airport, waiting to board a plane to Tokyo! Marc and I are spending a week in Tokyo and the travelling down to Nagato by the Shinkansen for Christmas. I'm passing the time playing with my Macbook ... and looking up things to do and visit (I'm thinking the Robot Museum and the Miyazaki Museum). Um... nothing much more to say - just bored and waiting. The 10 hour flight should be interesting :( Expect lots of photos on my flickr!
It started snowing last night, and began settling this morning. Fun! We walked down to the beach and I took a few photos and kicked snow about for a bit. This is my first Vancouver snow :) Next weekend, we are going up to Cypress Mountain to start making use of our ski passes.
In other news, spilt a lot of coffee on my MacBook last night, and although all the keys are working they make a weird noise and feel a bit sticky O_O I think I will have to explore some of the functionality of vox - I would love to get a links section up etc., but it doesn't seem too easy to navigate out of the vox universe?

The Lions Gate Bridge, I guess, is a Vancouver landmark. It connects downtown Vancouver to North and West Vancouver. This photo was taken from Cypress Mountain on an incredibly hot, hazy day (hence the crappiness of the photo). We randomly drove up Cypress Mountain, not having a clue where we were going or what it was, to discover an amazing (hazy) view of the city.
I work in the Gastown area of Vancouver, and had a great view of (the beginning of) today's Tour De Gastown bikerace. I've had Tour De France by Kraftwerk in my head all day O_O I can't believe I have two posts in a row about bikes ...
