What movie can you quote by heart?

None. I probably have watched the original Star Wars movies more than any other, but still get quotes very, very wrong. "Are these the droids you are looking for?"
My introduction to Enid Collins bags was in minature format - in Linda/ xoxoblythe's photographs of the custom-made bags she has for her Blythes. I have been eyeing some human size box bags for myself ever since, and have lost out on so many ebay auctions.
I the past week I have managed to nab two Collins of Texas box bags - both very different, but beautiful. I'm impatient, so these are the photos from the original ebay auctions. There is a great Enid Collins group on flickr with plenty of eye candy, and there are always a few on ebay if you decide you 'need' one yourself.

Show us a great postcard.
Show us a local landmark.
The Lions Gate Bridge, I guess, is a Vancouver landmark. It connects downtown Vancouver to North and West Vancouver. This photo was taken from Cypress Mountain on an incredibly hot, hazy day (hence the crappiness of the photo). We randomly drove up Cypress Mountain, not having a clue where we were going or what it was, to discover an amazing (hazy) view of the city.
What's up?
I am so pleased to say that not much is up, i.e it is the weekend and I am not working O_O The hubby and I have been pulling some crazy hours recently, getting the new website up at work. Its so nice to have the weekend to ourselves.
Yesterday I slept for about 12 hours, and felt fuzzy most of the day. We only emerged from the house once - to get gelato and make a trip to the video store. We rented Silent Hill, which wasn't scary in itself, but made me feel icky and weird knowing that someone had to sit and come up with such disturbing beasties and scenarios. I never did play the video game.
This morning Ms.Kitten woke me up with loud wailing meows, demanding food and attention. Its 8:30am on a sunday morning, and really quiet outside. The rain seems to have decided to come back to Vancouver, after a much-too-long absence this summer. I love it - this is finally the rainy city I was promised when I moved here!
Today, I'm going to read more of the new Murakami book of short stories - Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman - and venture out to book our flights to Japan. The cost of this trip seriously scares me.
